We aim to protect and preserve biocultural heritage.

The Potato Park is an Indigenous Biocultural Heritage Area comprised of 6000 villagers from six Quechua communities located in Cusco, Peru. The Park holds the largest in-situ diversity of potatoes in the world: approximately 1400 varieties. The Potato Park seeks to manage landscapes, ecosystems, biological and cultural assets for the collective benefit of participating communities, and strengthen their resilience to the adverse impacts of climate change.
